That’s not funny Standup comics are probably some the people with the hardest entertainment jobs ever. The idea of standing up in front of a group of people and simply releasing jokes is harder than you think. It takes a lot of courage, self-confidence, funniness, and talent to be a successful comic. This why comedians have different styles of doing standup and can be categorized into different groups.
The White Comedian: Any standup comic who considers himself/herself as of Caucasian decent is a white comedians. If you are still confused about what a white comedian is or looks like lookup the following people, Frank Boyle, Jim Curry, Patrick Maliha, David Cross, Amy Schumer, Todd Barry etc. But anyway most white comedians tell their jokes in a convincing sarcastic manner. What they say doesn’t have to be funny but the tone and manner they use to tell joke makes it funny. Like I am big fan of standup and the other day l was watching Todd Barry on YouTube an quickly realized that half of his joke were simple statements anyone can come up. For instance his opening statement was “I have never been to jail…” Now of course this not funny but the manner in which it was said by Todd Barry made it funny for his audience. The black Comedian Any African American or African Comedian can be considered as the black comedian. The black comedian is usually very aggressive in his mannerism. He likes to curse a lot during his show. Most black comedians tend to over exergare their jokes in order to achieve the maximum laughter out their audience. Unlike their white counterparts black comics can say whatever they what racially and white people have to sit there and take it shaking their heads in approval “yes l am evil

Few people are interested and the frog dies of it” (White). One shouldn’t question comedy and what is funny to people. As soon as that happens all of the funniness disappears. I believe that we talk more about the weather in March than in any other month. We take for granted April with showers, Summer with its heat and drought, Winter with its frost and snow, but with March it is different. March is the beginning of Spring. We know, of course, that the meteorologist says Spring begins the 21st, but we prefer to disregard that fact and believe that we already sense Spring riding upon the wings of the March wind. We have a premonition of little creatures stirring in the…

Journal On Movie Funny People Trevor Edwards Funny multitude Funny People, directed by Judd Apatow, was, to me, not as extraordinary as I expected ground on the title of the movie. There were definitely some funny parts, only when overall, I thought the movie was more on the earnest/drama side of writing styles rather than drollery. I think by chance Judd Apatow named the movie Funny People, and then make it more as a serious movie, on purpose. I believe this could be showing the difference…
