That Teenage Life

Her green eyes were wet with tears. "I'm pregnant," she said quietly as they sit in his car. It was a raining day; he looks at her with an unexplainable surprised face. "Are you sure?" She nodded and then broke down completely. He took her hand in his, trying to give her comfort. He could leave her, run from her and leave her alone to do what she wanted like many 17 year old boys did. But he was different he couldn't do that to her his love tore's her was bigger than anything. "I'm 16," she cried to him. "My father is going to kill me."

"How could this happen?" he asked her because he didn't know what else to say. It was a stupid question since he was the one who had gotten her pregnant. She looked at him. "Are you serious, is not like you weren't there Justin!'' He nodded. "I know I'm sorry that was a stupid question. I didn't know what else to say."

"What are we going to do?" She was panicking now. "I won't get an abortion I would never do that."

"That never even crossed my mind what are you saying?" he said to her really serious. She tried to smile at him. "Thank you. You don't know how much this means to me. Most boys would beg or run out on their girlfriends." He squeezed her hand giving her comfort. "I love you, Jackie I got you pregnant and I'm going to take care of you I give you my word." He took her hand and gave her a kiss. She nodded her head. "Your parents are going to freak too. They want you to go to college next year and this is going to ruin everything. You know it will.''

"No, they won't. They know how I feel about you. This blessing won't ruin me baby." He opened the glove compartment of his car and took out some napkins for her. He gave them to her. "Here clean your eyes. Everything is going to be alright I swear. Come on Jackie," he said softly. "We've been together for three years. Our parents know how we feel about each other. Nothing is going to happen I promise. We can get through

LUCIAN'S POV (Soundtrack for this part: Sad by Josh Rouse) Things started to change, Noelle became someone significant in my life. Someone I could stare at for a long time, I don’t want to understand what I am feeling because I have always been the worst person to handle emotions. Dreams about her came to my mind every night, no more nightmares but dreams that made me feel good and so fatal at the same time. Good because in my dreams she knew about my feelings and we were one.…

It all began with a simple phone call one chilly, rainy Monday night after dinner. “Joe,” my mother hollered up the stairs, “it is Jackie.” As I came downstairs to pick up the phone, I was quite excited. Although I tired, I was looking forward to spending some time with Jackie, my long time friend. As I skipped steps running down the stairs I thought of all the things we would do tonight, bowling, go out to eat, watch a movie, so many things to choose from. But tonight was Jackie’s turn to decide what to do as I got to choose last time we hung out.…
