Purpose: The purpose of my speech today is to persuade my audience how dangerous it is when texting while driving.

Central Idea: Texting while driving can be fatal, distracting, and what can we do to prevent the danger of texting while driving. Introduction: I would like to start by asking you this, do you value your life? Do you value the life of others? If so why put yourself and the life of other at risk by texting while driving?
