The Stress in My Life. There are many things that stress me in my life. My stresses include going to school, working a full time job, and taking care of my daughter. Those are my major stresses, but I also have small stresses to. My small stresses include managing a boyfriend, my social life, and handling everyday life experiences. All of this can be very stress full but I somehow seam to somehow get through the days. When I was sixteen years old I got pregnant with my first daughter Rylan. I was still in highschool and had a lot of choice to still be made. My parents told me how hard it would be to raise her on my own, but I did not believe them until after she was born. I am constantly having to stress about making sure she has clothes on her back and food in her mouth. I also have to make sure she has a baby sitter while I am at work and school. Raising a child is very stressful, especially while trying to go to college. School stresses me out a lot, with trying to keep up with my work and study for all of my test. While I am at school I still contently have to stress about my daughter, on top of trying to pay attention in class. I am trying to go to college to get a degree to be a physical therapist. So I can give my daughter the future she dissevers. I contently have to bring my school work to work with me to get some of it done. My job is very stressful so it has a big impact on my life. I currently work a full time job, as a pharmacy technician. I work around forty hours or more a week. Between my job and school I barely have any time for my daughter. My pay checks barely cover mine and my daughter’s expenses. Even though I my job stresses me out and takes time away from my daughter it is something I have to do. I have many stresses in my life that make me want to give up, but I do not because I have a lot of responsibility. My daughter, my job, and school keep me really busy. My

Many consider that texting while driving can be very dangerous. They say that roads aren’t safe when driver’s text and drive. But in reality there wouldn’t be a difference in roads if the ban of texting while driving was enacted. In my opinion I don’t think texting while driving should be banned. I disagree with the whole concept of it. Banning texting while driving would be pointless, hard to enforce, and it isn’t the cause of increase in car accidents.…

I have a hard enough time trying to find time in between work and school to study and do homework. Finding the time to hang out with my friends is very difficult, especially the ones who went away to college and only come down occasionally. Luckily my boyfriend and I go to the same school, and work together. We get to see each other in between classes and after work. I don't really have to worry to much about losing him or not finding time for him. He understands what I'm going through because he is also a full time student, and also has a full time job. I sometimes still get very frustrated because I feel like my day only consists of school and work with nothing in between. There are so many times when I just don't know how I'm going to find time to study, and write my paper or whatever it is I have to do. Many people, mainly teenagers, text while driving and don’t think to consider the safety of themselves and others. Some teenagers, just like Chelsea in the Dr.Phil’s, film “Texting While Driving”, come into some near tragic experiences because of texting while driving and still don’t consider what they are doing a safety hazard. Chelsea stated that nothing can stop her from texting while driving. I’m sure she is not the only person who feels that way. Many people enjoy the convenience of texting while driving and that’s all they focus on. Most “texters” don’t look into the fact that if you’re giving the your phone attention, you aren’t giving the road your full attention and you are putting yourself and others at risk of endangerment. Texting slows down reaction time just as if you were under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Studies have been tested in order to prove this, in an article it stated “The new study, which entailed outfitting the cabs of long-haul trucks with video cameras over 18 months, found that when the drivers texted, their collision risk was 23 times as great as when they were not texting.” (Richtel 1) When you text you slow down you reaction time and as stated above the likelihood of being is involved in a car accident becomes much greater. In the public service announcement film titled “Cow” directed by Watkins-Hughes three teenage females were also involved in a tragedy because of texting while driving. Watkins-Hughes and the special effects team Zipline Creative used a lot of drama and realistic details such as blood and screaming along with rapid movement. Even death was incorporated into the PSA to get across to the target audience of teens what actually happens in a car accident caused by texting while driving.…

How many people text behind the wheel of their vehicle? Can we relate to the following story? Jaci Lemons* is driving down the street, headed to school. The 17 year old driver is texting another friend. As she looks down to read the incoming text, Jaci veers off to the right and crashes head-on into the back of a parked vehicle. She is taken to the hospital, but after brief examination by the attending ER doctor, Jaci is released. Thankfully, the only thing bruised is her pride, and her pocketbook. Missouri should make texting while driving illegal for all drivers, not just the drivers aged 21 and under. Missouri has passed a state law, on Aug. 28, 2009, that prohibits drivers 21 years of age or younger from sending or reading a text while driving. While that is a great start, it isn't enough. Drivers across the country have been seen in their vehicles doing all sorts of dangerous, weird, and downright strange things while driving. Watching a DVD movie (really), dressing, putting on makeup, eating, texting, etc; but texting is what is causing legislatures some concern here in Missouri. The problem is we spend so many hours behind the wheel that seemingly, we are driving on "auto pilot". (Have you ever driven a while and then could not remember any of it?)…
