Business Environment
If I would bring my product into the US market, it would be very successful. The market value of my product will be very good. Social status of my product will be very positive; people will be very active in buying my product because it would be popular among people. My product will also help people save money, instead of spending it on batteries and replacement controllers.

Features and Benefits
My product should be manufactured because consumers need a remote like my product. My controller is not like any other. It has a self-charging battery, and you do not have to change out any batteries. Some of the benefits of my product are that you no longer have to keep buying batteries, and you don’t have to buy any new controllers because of shortages in the wire. Consumers will be positively impacted, because they will save a lot of money.

Financial Overview
The selling price for my product will be $25. I am selling it at that price because it is in between both of my competitors prices. If I increased my price, I think my product would still sell very well. Also if I decreased my price, my sells would increase; although my profit would not be as much.

Conclusion
My product will have success in the US economy market. I think sales will be very good, and will increase over time. Also, performance in the market place is expected to be positive and satisfying. Future plans for my product is to make different controllers that don’t need batteries and also to sell my product all over the country.

Regardless of the size of the company, the tangibility or intangibility of their product, or if the company operates in a domestic or international market, the basic approach to marketing processes will be the same (Virtual Advisor, Inc., 2009). The company must target a market that will buy the product, products must be created to fill a need, pricing must support sales of the product, and distribution must be achievable. There are various economic, political, legal, and social environmental factors that differentiate the global market from domestic markets (Bearden, 2009). Apple must account for this fact when formulating a marketing plan to enter the marketplace of a different country. Entry and growth in foreign markets comes with it new rules and regulations to be followed. In preparation for entry into foreign markets, Apple Inc. has registered or applied for trademark protection in a number of foreign countries (Apple Inc., 2011). If the company is to be successful, it must continue to assess the economic climate before developing within a foreign country. Considerations, such as physical, financial, and demographic characteristics must also be assessed before…

Technology has came a long way and will continue to improve and explore unknown territories. One of the new things discovered is texting and while texting is helpful it has a lot of disadvantages and downfalls. If texting could be listed as a skill, many of my friends would qualify as highly skilled in that area. John McWhorter, an author and linguist, once said “Texting is very loose in its structure. No one thinks about capital letters or punctuation when one texts, but then again, do you think about those things when you talk?” McWhorter makes a vital point at the end of his quote. He states that people generally do not think about adhering to proper grammar rules when they talk, so naturally people do not consider utilizing them while texting, which is essentially talking in written form. As a result of people becoming adjusted to texting as they talk, in a loose, casual manner with little to no regard to strict, confining rules of proper speech, texting is no more of a threat to peoples’ grammar than everyday conversation is, and generations prior…

    Influences of Texting

Does texting have an influence on our everyday language? David Crystal disagrees that texting will not destroy or impair our language in his article “2B or Not 2B”.He argues that text messaging could be beneficial to our language; saying that texting can actually “improve your skills to read or write, even with children” (345). Limiting what your text is going to say or look like depends on the creativity and the way you think to send the message. One other point that he makes is that when a person is texting they are also making sure that the receiver of the text can understand what is being said, and abbreviations are not as new as you think they are. Texting is just another form of communication with someone instead of picking up the phone, or sending a letter. So it will not corrupt the language we use today. It takes up too much time to sit down and write a letter then to send a text message (SMS). From my personal experiences I can confirm that texting does not corrupt or destroy the language. The way you text and the way that you would write an essay are two different types of language just put into different forms.…

Language and words are the most important intangible things we have as humans. Having the ability to communicate abstract ideas with others by making sounds with our mouths is what sets us apart from other Earth-walking animals, and is quite incredible when you think about it. However, when the times change, language changes right with it. We are now in what is called the “Age of Technology” and the major increase in use of the internet, mobile devices and TV has created a whole new set of words that are being looked at as detrimental to traditional language. I do not think the language of new media is corrupting communication but helping, and the idea that it is helping comes from a bias towards younger people.…

The Oxford Union Schools’ Competition uses a format known as British Parliamentary (BP) debating. This is the format used by most university competitions for schoolchildren (it is also used by the Bristol, Cambridge and Durham Schools’ Competitions), but it is quite different from other formats, such as that used in the ESU Schools’ Mace. Speakers who have debated in other formats usually have no difficulty switching to BP, but it is important that everyone understands the format and rules of the debate. This information sheet can only give the most salient points about BP debating; if this format is new to you, we strongly recommend that you attend one of our workshops, to which all schools that enter the Oxford Union Schools’ Competition are invited.…
