Forecasting on the Development of Alternative Delivery Channel (ADC) Product of

AB Bank Limited

INTRODUCTION

Operation Management is the management of systems or processes that create goods and/or provide services. This project is aimed on the implementation of the processes involved in the Operation management, facilitating the creation of goods and services, and providing overall operational efficiency in an organization.

For implementing the project proposal it is required to select a particular organization on which the Operation management systems and processes will be applied for showing the implementation of operational procedure in an organization. With this view this Project Proposal is focused on the organization from the Banking Industry of Bangladesh named “AB Bank Limited”.

This project will focus on the operational efficiency of the particular product line of the Bank denoted as Alternative Delivery channel (ADC).

Background of AB Bank Limited

AB Bank Limited, the first private sector bank was incorporated in Bangladesh on 31st December 1981 as Arab Bangladesh Bank Limited and started its operation with effect from April 12, 1982.

AB Bank is known as one of leading bank of the country since its commencement 28 years ago. During the last 28 years, AB Bank Limited has opened 86 Branches in different Business Centers of the country.

AB Bank commits to nation to take a lead in the Banking sector through not only its strong financial position, but also through innovation of products and services.

The bank has focused to bring services at the doorstep of its customers, and to bring millions into banking channels those who are outside the mainstream banking arena. Innovative products and services were introduced in the field of-
