The story Tennessee's Partner has a theme that differentiates in a few different ways from the theme of the story The Blue Hotel. The theme of Tennessee's Partner is “No matter how crude a man may seem to be, there can sometimes still be a lot of qualities in him such as loyalty and friendship.”. In Tennessee's Partner, there was a strong relationship between the two friends that lasted even when the other half was on his deathbed. Both stories have huge plot lines, a very important part of a story.
