Teenagers And Toddler Research Paper
Teenagers and Toddlers On the exterior, the difference between toddlers and teenagers may appear to be very different, but they are much more comparable than most may think. They have so many things in common with a variety of differences also. The differences between toddlers and teenagers can seem to be more than what they seem, but they are a lot more alike than you would think. The differences can be very simple to see. Toddlers usually smell like whatever they had just gotten done eating or whatever they may have gotten into. Teenagers, no longer having any interest in hygiene, tend to smell like body odor. Teenagers are usually much larger than toddlers. When a toddler lies on the ground and begins kicking and screaming, …show more content…
Most teenagers are smarter than their own parents in the sense that they can be mentally quicker. If a teenager tells you a lie to avoid work or trouble, they might be smart enough to convince you or even fool you. Of course, teenagers are much more self-sufficient than toddlers. Teenagers tend to go wherever they want, when they want, under their own power of supervision without checking up with their parents stating where they are, where they are going, and who they are with, while toddlers are constantly under supervision. The similarity between the two may be harder to see. Neither toddler nor teenager seem to have an interest in washing their hands or face on a regular basis. Teenagers and Toddlers, after being caught doing something they know they should not be doing, will lie straight to your face even though they know you just witnessed them doing it. Neither toddlers nor teenagers completely understand the basic logic expressed by a matured adult. Things that are good for toddlers or teenagers, things that will help them grow or learn or are otherwise beneficial are useless unless they are fun. Both teenagers and toddlers are happy to spend any money they posses on a new toy, both are very easily distracted, and they both enjoy making a mess and do not want to clean it

In the adolescent age group things get a little more stressful. Some things that are stressful for the adolescents are keeping up their grades because school has gotten harder, getting a job, making the team, and things like that. With the adulthood and older adulthood age group comes the realization of necessities needed to just get by because it is the first time you are supporting yourself. As time goes on you get more and more worries like; house payments, car payments, life insurance, taxes, bills, etc. Also, if you decide to have kids then you have to think about the costs of diapers, clothes, bottles, milk, baby food, and other baby necessities. There are many variances in how each age group reacts and responds, health wise and body. Preschool-aged and toddlers need more structure and support from their parents to do well in life. A simple task a brushing their teeth can use some help, or even eating and sleeping. However, as they progress through life and become school-aged children they will take the values and behaviors they learned from their previous years and build on top of it until they create their own sense of identity. As a child learns, they will start understanding the differences between right and wrong, needs and wants more clearly. (Academia.edu. n.d.).…

Teens can be fun and are able to do more than a toddler would be able to. Even though they are in the process of learning teens can do more themselves such as bathing, cooking, and cleaning. They are great with helping out with younger siblings. As teens build their independence they have a lot more stress to deal with than a toddler would. There is so much pressure that surrounds a teens everyday life which includes peer pressure, relationships, sex, bullying, social media, drugs and school work. Communication is not always but, for the most part easier to understand than a toddlers. Toddlers on the other hand can be a handful and are understandably more needy. Toddlers can be lots of fun and playful but any little change in their schedule or missed nap time can result in a major catastrophe! Thankfully toddlers are easily satisfied and very forgiving.Having a toddler has its stresses but one thing you can always be sure of is knowing where they are at. Unlike teens, toddlers are more dependent on their parents and are pretty much always by their side. On the downside everything is a learning experience, this includes the not so fun potty training stage. The one thing that makes the stresses of having a toddler seem no existent is that they are so cute and still love to…

Every adult that we meet on a day to day basis will have a different attitude to mine and more than likely will have different values and mind sets on everything. Technically children were known to be minor model of adults, a psychologist researcher ‘Jean Piaget’ came up with an explanation claiming that small children have a different understanding to adults. A famous theoretical physicist known as ‘Albert Einstein’ identified the theory that ‘Jean Piaget’ had come up with was, ‘so simple that only a genius could have thought of it’ I agree with this however I also believe that the way adults behave in front of their children could also cause their child to behave exactly the same, i.e. swearing or foul action towards another human being, this is where psychology takes part in the child’s mind, and begins to evolve around it very quickly and give the child the thinking and belief that it should do the same as his parents. However they could have a different understanding to their parents by doing the opposite, for example a child would hear and see things and do them the opposite way resulting in harm or maybe severe damage to themselves and think it is right.…

Children and adults can be contrasted in how they act and the way they physically respond to situations. Children have been seen to act in a free manner, worrying mostly about them, over time learning to consider other’s views and feelings when completing an action. This is because children have not gone in the real world all by themselves. There is a lot of pressure on adults to conform to act in a certain way, as there is for children, but only adults feel this pressure. With experience and time as children reach adulthood they understand what is acceptable at what times and what is not.…
