Teenage Boy Shooting Thesis
On September 28, a 14-year-old boy murdered his father. He also injured a 6-year-old little boy in a shooting at an elementary school. Prosecutors have taken action to have the case moved to the Court of General Sessions where the 14-year- old can be tried as an adult. His charges include murder and others. The teenage boy murdered his father while he was watching television within their home. The teenager then took the car and went to the elementary school. He was carrying a handgun at the time and began shooting, ultimately wounding two boys and a teacher. One of the boys died due to the fatal wounds he sustained. One of the bullets hit an artery and caused him to suffer a significant loss in blood which led to cardiac arrest.
The teenager was first charged with murder in addition to three counts of attempted murder. However, after the young boy died, a second murder charge was tacked on. He is also facing charges due to the weapon he was in possession of. The family of the teenage boy said the relatives were in bereavement due to their own loss as well as the one’s he had caused. At the time the article was written, there was no motive known for the shootings. The victims and the school were also not found to be connected to the teenage boy. Upon reading the article title, I was compelled to read the article and see what it entailed. At first glance, I questioned what the teenager could have done to deserve to be tried as an adult in court. I cannot tell whether you support the action of the prosecuting team or not. You did a splendid job keeping your opinion out of the article and avoiding bias. However, there are some pieces of the article I would like further explanations on if you have the details
