The type of serial killer I find to be the most dangerous to society is the hedonistic type, because I have noticed that they are in the category of killers most likely to kill slowly, and to drag out the pain their victims feel. John Wayne Gacy was one such serial killer, as a lust-oriented hedonist who derived pleasure from raping his victims before their death and ejaculated as he killed them. This fits the criteria of a lust-oriented hedonist, which states that they associate sex with murder, and they are often involved...

The type of mass murderer I find to be the most dangerous to society would be the disciple type, who follows the directions of their charismatic leader. I find them the most dangerous because they are just pawns, and will kill whoever they are told with no regard for human life, and will even die for their leader if they are told to. Susan Atkins was one such disciple. She was a follower of Charles Manson, and she was charged with helping to commit seven murders on his command.
