Technology Is Destroying America
My vision on America is not very positive. Technology is controlling the human race more than the human race is controlling it, we are destroying the world with pollution, and we are turning into the opposite of what our ancestors wanted us to be. America has changed in good ways and bad ways, people have gotten smarter and built things to keep us all going. But some things are killing us at the same time. Technology is changing us, killing us with factories and littering. The people a 1000 years ago would be disappointed with how the human race is now.

Technology is not just destroying America but it is destroying the world. People are being killed with airstrikes and guns and mostly everything, we all use to be kind and mine each other’s business, but now we all are trying to kill each other to protect the ones we love. There is no problem with that but if we all just get along then the world wouldn’t be so bad and dangerous. The reason I picked technology for one of my reasons is because when I’m in public, there’s nothing but people on their phones or on their laptops. What makes me sad is that it looks like zombies that are not watching where they’re going and running into each other. I see kids walking around with IPhones and if they break it they just get another phone the next day.

The world has shrunk in nature and forests all kind of ways like fires and people cutting trees. We try to keep America alive by making houses and making electricity for us but we got to think about the earth and if we keep going this path way we are in rite now, the whole human race can die off. If we start to clean after us and be more resourceful, then that’s the good track that America needs to take. We got to take care of our earth because we only have one

Computers, telephones, cars, television---all these gadgets and inventions have only just come about within the past century. Being such recent additions to society, people surely survived before their creation; sadly, there are rarely any people today that understand what that was like. Hardly ever are people not on their smartphones anymore, whether they’re texting their friends, looking something up, or using social media. Whatever the reason, people are constantly relying on technology to do something for them nowadays. The author Ray Bradbury emphasizes this in his short stories, “The Pedestrian” ,“The Veldt”, and “August 2026: There Will Come Soft Rains”, where the main characters rely so heavily on their technologically innovative houses to feed, entertain, and aid them in their daily lives that all the outcomes are anything but positive. Negative consequences like these aren’t fictional like most of the components of Bradbury’s stories, though; scientists have already found many…

Do you believe that our natural world can come to an end because of our actions and careless attitudes? It is obvious that the global environmental changes are primarily caused by the growing trend of human’s actions and industrial revolution. Unfortunately, these changes are irreversible and directly contribute to the continuous deterioration of our planet. This is the topic that Thomas Friedman (2016) focuses on his article, “We are all Noah now”. In this article “We are all Noah now” Friedman (2016) states that the planet and human’s life are seriously affected by these changes. The author discussed many issues by explaining their sever impact. One major issue humans do is deforestation, where the tree cutting is on rise with diverse consequences…

Technology and advancement is great right? Sure, for some people. Technology and advancement can have its benefits, but it can also have its negative impacts as well. In fact, a perfect time period to see this negative impact in technological advancement is the second half of the nineteenth-century in America. American technology and industrialization changed the life of many social groups. Some positively, but most negatively. The urban population felt the worst impact during this period. The New South also felt the negative effects of this period, and the middle-class got a little bit of both good and bad. Generally, in the late 1800s, technological advancements and industrialization had a severely negative impact on many different social groups.…

Overall, America is a great country, but it can be better. We have a strong military, a high diversity, a booming economy, and we are viewed as the world’s “leader” because of these reasons and more. However, we also have many weaknesses. Our healthcare plan isn’t the best, taxes are high and are sometimes spent on unimportant things, illegal immigration is taking away jobs, and many more. In conclusion, the state of America currently pretty damn good, but it;s going to go downhill if we don’t make some…

Technology is improving and advancing rapidly every day. New inventions and ideas are thought of and produced so quickly that new versions of a certain technology are proved outdated within months of their release. Our lives have been made simpler with devices such as GPS, advanced medical equipment and smart phones that can do almost anything it is told to do. However, nothing really compares to the introduction and growth of the Internet. The Internet has had the largest effect on life in this country. Everyone gets lucky at some point in their lives. I personally was lucky at birth. Being born into a kind and caring family, parents with well paid jobs, and are very strong financially. I live in a beautiful house that not many people could afford. I receive a proper education, preparing me to do the same for my children, and the generation after, and so forth. See, I live in an age where technology has evolved. Teachers use smart boards and online textbooks to teach lessons and prepare us for our futures in the world. When my parents were around the same age as me, they didn’t have any of these things. In some ways, the generation of today has received an answer key to many dilemmas in their everyday lives. Confused on something in school? Students simply would search the web and find an answer to their question in a matter of seconds. Although this is a great source of information, has the current generation become too reliant on it, using it as more of a crutch than a helpful resource? In my opinion, America has given this to us as a gift. A gift to a simpler life, where cars can drive themselves, and information can be learned by a click of a button. We’ve constantly repeated the process of improvement throughout American history.…
