Today’s generation, “The Millennials”, who have grown up alongside the Internet and watched it become what it is today have discovered that not only is it a boredom outlet, but also an idea outlet. The Internet allows me to pitch ideas anywhere there is an online community who will listen. Whether the idea is liked or not, often times if it picks up wind, it spreads like wildfire. Not only on the website it is posted on, but in many places, many times, becoming “viral”. People from all over the world can join in, adding their thoughts and ideas to make it something great or to tear something down. Their leisure activities were just reading a book or going out for a walk, to name a few. As time went by, they started to see new ways of entertainment; when the radio was invented they were able to interact with a lot more people than before and could listen to their favorite artists and the latest news. Times went on, and our parents had the chance of seeing beyond where they lived. Television became the center of entertainment for those who could afford it. At that time, society was more dependent on their own but as they were striving, new ways of communication were also being discovered. As technology improved, Americans focused…

Everyone gets lucky at some point in their lives. I personally was lucky at birth. Being born into a kind and caring family, parents with well paid jobs, and are very strong financially. I live in a beautiful house that not many people could afford. I receive a proper education, preparing me to do the same for my children, and the generation after, and so forth. See, I live in an age where technology has evolved. Teachers use smart boards and online textbooks to teach lessons and prepare us for our futures in the world. When my parents were around the same age as me, they didn’t have any of these things. In some ways, the generation of today has received an answer key to many dilemmas in their everyday lives. Confused on something in school? Students simply would search the web and find an answer to their question in a matter of seconds. In my opinion, America has given this to us as a gift. A gift to a simpler life, where cars can drive themselves, and information can be learned by a click of a button. We’ve constantly repeated the process of improvement throughout American history.…
