Technical Background of Voting System
TECHNICAL BACKGROUND
Non-functional requirements The non-functional requirements of the proposed system or the qualities and constraints of the proposed system are as follows;
Security. The propose system is exclusively for the Kalinga Colleges of Science and Technology, wherein the Administrator and the Students (Voter) have different privileges to the system.
Accessibility. The propose system is design and develop for the Kalinga Colleges of Science and Technology Administration, Faculty and Staff and the Students to be able to access and cast their votes.
Scalability. The propose system can be enhance and upgrade to meet the demands of the librarian personnel and the borrowers from the Kalinga Provincial Librarian.

Functional System Requirements
Hardware Requirements. The minimum system requirements for the proposed system in order to function are the following:
• For the server: asus M468t-m le V2 MF630/s DD3,AMD Phenom IIx6 1055T 2.8 GHz 125W processor turbo core amd 8gb DDR3 kington,500 gb hardisk.
• For the clientele: asus M468t-m le V2 MF630/s DD3,AMD Phenom IIx6 1055T 2.8 GHz 125W processor turbo core amd 8gb DDR3 kington,500 gb hardisk.
Software Requirements. The minimum system requirements for the proposed system in order to function are the following
• For the server: Visual basic, Microsoft access and windows xp/ windows 7
• For the workstation: Visual basic, Microsoft access and windows xp/ windows 7
System requirements
The system KCST Computerized Voting System has the ability to automate and increase the speed and accuracy in terms of recording the votes cast. The Administrator/Students will both have benefit for a reason that they will not do the same process they are using in every transaction. Instead of doing the usual way or the manual system of the voting, they can now use a Graphical User Interface (GUI) all they have to do is to use the mouse and keyboard to log in depends on what type of user they are,
