Teacher is more important than parents ?
Good teachers are more important to a child's development than good parents.

There are many people who can influence to a child’s development in both bad side and good side. In my point of view, I definitely disagree with the statement that “good teachers are more important to a child’s development than good parents”.

First, to every child, parents are special teachers whom a child know first in life. Parent are very essential in a child’s development because they teach their child not only basic knowledge but also precious life lessons. Certainly, no matter good a teacher is, he or she cannot teach a child how to be deal with a fear, how to be optimistic in stressful situations and how to be make a good decision in real life. Nobody except parents, people who love and know their children best, can do this.

Second, parents are closer to their children than teachers are. They have witnessed every step in both physical and mental development of their children. Therefore, they have ability to realize what children really need, which helps children a lot. Besides, children learn best through their everyday experiences with their parents, people they are close and trust the most. They can learn easily good things from parents’ advices and their daily behaviors.

Finally, parents influence deeply on a child’s development for a long time. Teacher can be changed each year, but parents are always stand by a child’s side. Moreover, no matter what children do, they are sure to be encouraged and supported by parents. In other words, parents give children a long-term impact not only on their development but also their success in future

In brief, no teacher can replace the important role of parents in a child’s development. Parents who are the first teachers of their children not only understand and meet what children need but also are strong motivations for children forever.

A positive impact from parents in a child’s younger days to their transition to adulthood is very important in the way the child performs. Caring for a crying baby after birth is just as important as disciplining a child as a teenager. Studies show that a child that still lives with both parents at the age of fourteen is more likely to graduate college and possibly further their education than a child that comes from a home with a single parent or possibly no parent. As a child starts school a good parent should be very heavily involved in their child’s school activities and should strive to make sure they are successful.
