Tattoo Minors
A tattoo: a permanent injection of ink onto the skin that forms an image. The most common age for someone to get a tattoo is 18 years old. This is typically the minimum age for a person to get a tattoo. Why do we have to wait in order to get a tattoo? 45 states have laws about minors getting tattoos, and 38 states don’t even allow minors to get them. Why is that? Is it because of the fact that a minor might make a poor decision of tattoo? Or maybe the fact that tattoos should be saved for legal adults. I believe that minors above the age of 13 should be allowed to get tattoos with a parents permission because of the sentimentality a tattoo offers, the positive effect it can have on a person, and the creative encouragement it offers
