What is information?
Information is data collected by systems which is already processed and structures in an organized format that can be useful. It can come in a series of numbers, Letters, and even symbols; it can come as facts, values and even measurements. Any computer that operates requires data and information is also an Information System. Information can be very useful especially when trying to monitor the progress of something’s ranging to company growth to identify flaws in order to make changes for a financial advantage. Good information is accurate, precise, Easy to access, easy to interpretate, Easy to access and is highly accurate.
Data Can Come as:
Qualitative Data is text written based information it can come in forms such as Interview, Questionnaires, text, Colour and even surveys that does not involve any numbers at all. Companies can use Qualitative information to make decisions based on surveys taken by other customers; It can come in the form of customer feedback which can be very helpful especially when making decisions. Qualitative Data Is very useful as it easy to understand and straight forward to get as it either comes in the form of Text or Questionnaires
Quantitative Information involves the counting or calculation of data that is processed numerically. Things ranging from People, Stock, Cars etc can be stored on information Systems can be counted or measured to the exact accurate number rather than using averages or estimations depending on how your Information systems function. 3. Primary Information
Primary Information is an actual tangible document that was pre written then printed on either a hard paper or even a book. Types Of Primary Information Documents Include:

Is information proscribed by the computer system that can be created and deleted permanently “The difference between Primary and secondary Information is that Secondary Information is given”. Secondary data is data that you collect from external sources such as the internet, TV, magazines and newspapers. Analysis
Is whereby a business or firm does a regular check on the company’s data to make decisions, Analysis information could come in the form of surveys done by customers. A firm might use weekly customer sales in a reports, this could be very useful especially when making decisions as you have accurate information/data. An Analysis sheet would show whether Web Aware profits whether they are increasing or decreasing and also compare the company’s performance to other businesses.
