REDBOX is a “Coinstar Company that rents DVDs for a dollar a day through vending machines in more than 25,000 convenience store, supermarkets, and fast-food restaurants” (Kolter and Armstrong, 2012, p. 370). REDBOX was the first of its kind to offer affordable daily DVD rentals from a kiosk. REDBOX is still in competition with Blockbuster and Netflix in the DVD rental market. However, REDBOX is a step ahead. They realize the high cost of rental and membership fees consumers can endure, so they offer a unique distinguishing marketing tool, $1 a day rentals. Imperative to their success, REDBOX uses a sophisticated software system designed to skillfully deliver DVDs to consumers instantly at the touch of a button. REDBOX does not anticipate cutting back on its products or kiosks; instead they are diligently trying to fulfill higher demands from consumers by using the future of technology. “REDBOX operates more than 24,000 DVD rental kiosks in McDonald’s, Walmart, Walgreens,…

Until the ever changing innovations have completely moved away from DVD’s, Netflix must find a way to remain competitive. Such competitors as REDBOX, has an advantage over Netflix. REDBOX Kiosks can be found at most, Walmart, Walgreen 7-Eleven and various gas stations (Ferrell & Hartline, 2014). The REDBOX Kiosk offers current DVD movie rentals at a very low cost to consumers. Its $1 per day rental seemed more appealing to consumers than the price of the $15 monthly DVD membership to Netflix. Netflix would need to increase DVD distribution locations and ensure that the movies arrivals are timely. Continued efforts to appeal to its loyal customers, is advisable. Availability of new releases is appealing to loyal and new customers.…

The company has been majorly focusing on customers’ needs here in the US, keeping their clients up to date with the current laws and regulations (their HR department) and making payroll processing convenient. What they lack, though, is a diversified geographic. It’s important to concentrate on the US operations, but other countries have specific issues that may need to be handled differently. If ADP wants to expand and take full advantage of their services, they ought to pay more attention to their geographic diversification.…

To help resolve this problem, health maintenance organizations (HMO) have been introduced, with the goal of focusing on keeping people well and out of hospitals in the hope of decreasing employer costs. HMOs are popular alternatives to traditional health care plans offered by insurance companies because they can cover a wide variety of services, usually at a significantly lower cost [16]. HMOs use "networks" of selected doctors, hospitals, clinics and other health care providers that together provide comprehensive health services to the HMOs members [16]. The overall trade-off with an HMO is reduced choice in exchange for increased affordability.…
