The organization that I have chosen to do my SWOT analysis on is the New Orleans Saints football team. They are among the most successful teams of this decade but not ranked very high as far as most lucrative organizations in the National Football League. They are currently ranked 23rd among the 30 active teams in the national football league. The organization was formed and became a professional football team in 1967. The team got its nickname due to its founding being on All Saints Day on November 1, 1967. The team initially one of the weaker franchises in the league. It didn’t win many games and struggled to sell out games. They have won one Super Bowl title, 5 Division Championships, and made only 9 playoff appearances in its 46 year existence. The ultimate goal of this organization is to win football games and generate revenue by selling tickets and merchandise.…

Although ADP (Automatic Data Processing) is one of the leading providers of business outsourcing solutions, it has weaknesses that negatively affect the company. One significant aspect of ADP is that the company has clients in many foreign countries, but less than only 20% of ADP’s revenues come from other regions of the world. The company has been majorly focusing on customers’ needs here in the US, keeping their clients up to date with the current laws and regulations (their HR department) and making payroll processing convenient. What they lack, though, is a diversified geographic. It’s important to concentrate on the US operations, but other countries have specific issues that may need to be handled differently. If ADP wants to expand and take full advantage of their services, they ought to pay more attention to their geographic diversification.…

In this task, in result to a National Health Care Association being concerned about the shortage of nurses, I have a sample of 50 nurses degree of satisfaction in relation to work, pay and opportunities for promotion. This sample showed their degree of satisfaction on a scale from 0 to 100 from nurses from 3 different types of hospitals: Private, Veterans Administration and University. I have analysed this data to create results to better understand the current degree of job satisfaction amongst nurses and what hospitals have the best and worst job satisfaction in regard to each sector. I can then use my findings to gain a clear understanding of what the National Health Care Association can do to prevent a shortage of nurses for the future.…

Healthcare organizations must continually make adjustments to maintain optimal function (Christiansen 2002). A number of different techniques can be used to determine where adjustments need to be made. One essential technique involves a discussion of an organization’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, commonly called SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis has been used extensively in other industries but has not been widely used in healthcare (Kahveci and Meads 2008). SWOT analysis is a precursor to strategic planning and is performed by a panel of experts who can assess the organization from a critical perspective (Gibis et al. 2001). This panel could comprise senior leaders, board members, employees, medical staff, patients, community leaders, and technical experts. Panel members base their assessments on utilization rates, outcome measures, patient satisfaction statistics, organizational performance measures, and financial status. While based on data and facts, the conclusions drawn from SWOT analysis are an expert opinion of the panel.…

Since Oregon has cold, long rainy seasons, the demand for hot beverages has been on the rise in this area. Another factor making hot beverages such as coffee, lattes, and other coffee orientated drinks in popular demand, even in hot seasons, is the fact that the shop will be located within walking distance from The University of Oregon. This fact, in addition to the close proximity to other high traffic spots, suggests that the products to be distributed by Java Culture Café…

There are a few good strengths about me, that will help me be able to get a good job coming out of ECPI lf University. Well first off I'll start with the one year and a half that I had here at ECPI as a student, a lot of hands of experience with different types of work; making Ethernet cables, repairing hardware of a PC, etc. On top of that I am currently employed at GLS (Global Linking Solutions) where we monitor and troubleshoot internet connections for a number of customers, and that specific piece of equipment we monitor is a Cisco router. Making sure the router is properly configured so it can communicated with the modem to have connection at the customer's premises. So I have a good amount of working with PC's and routers. I will soon graduate and earn my Associates Degree in Network Security. Also currently working on getting my CCNA certificate in the near future.…
