I am doing a SWOT analysis on Rutabaga Sweets located in Washington, DC. Rutabaga Sweets is a dessert bar and bakery. People are able to sit around a bar area and watch as their dessert is being made. Having your dessert made in front of you is all part of the experience and what this bakery and restaurant is all about. Rutabaga Sweets is a unique establishment where the dedicated staff is here to provide a comfortable atmosphere, fantastic desserts, and a gourmet experience. This is a creative environment with a friendly, hard-working staff here to meet your needs. Rutabaga Sweets is looking to create a one of a kind experience for their customers. They also offer a carry out service where you can prepare your dessert of choice at home. The dessert bar and bakery also offer special occasion cakes. Rutabaga Sweets will offer a fun cooking class once a month that will be taught by a Cordon Bleu trained chef. Rutabaga Sweets will also have a section available for parties or celebrations. They will be offering several different promotions such as the After School Cookie Club which is geared toward children who can enjoy milk and cookies that they have helped to make. Another promotion is going to be Tea Time which is a time for moms to come and relax and enjoy themselves. This unique dessert bar and sweet shop is looking to market to four segment groups. They are targeting Soccer Moms, Comfort Creatures, Gourmet Wanna-bes, and also Celebrators. So many people fall into one of these groups and will are likely to spend money on a bakery dessert to treat themselves or someone else. Rutabaga Sweets is geared toward making you feel welcome by offering you a warm and inviting atmosphere with a friendly and outgoing staff. Their menu will also reflect the same comfort in the dessert foods they offer. Rutabaga Sweets is looking to market to customers
