1. Application and sustainability design Biocomposites have been used for sustainability for years now and considerable advancements have been made to perfect the physical and mechanical properties. With the current challenges that the industrial world faces regarding the unavoidable environmental impact of manufacturing goods, companies have been turning to sustainable design in order to reduce this impact and to minimize the damage to the environment while at the same time reaping the marketing bonus that is the claim of a greener product. The designer needs to create a new creativity and expertise by using better quality of raw materials. Transportable slatted seating chair is shown in figure 5. This is a chair designed by Clab4design Company. It is for a simple, portable and functional seat, the 'Sgabellox Stool' is a perfect fit. Clab4design has developed this compact chair for flexible use to seat guests at your party, or you at someone else's. Made of three separate pieces of wood, the 'Sgabellox Stool' can be assembled in seconds. Ideal for small spaces, this single-seater can be stacked and suspended, or worn like a tote for traveling. It is really an innovative design by using the biocomposite material.

Researchers now exploring the biocomposite material that can replace the current material but can give better performances. It seems that the demands of for the environmentally friendly or green product have grown for few years. In ensure sustainable growth, stability and competitiveness, government should encourage people in consumption of the alternative wood materials. It also have some good respond in using the biocomposite material made from the natural fibre for the alternative to the wood manufacturer. Manufacturer chooses biocomposite material as the alternative material because of the natural fiber-like material. Thus, manufacturer becomes more confidence with the advantages of the biocomposite material. Besides that, the strict standards, purchasing regulations and policies, environmental issues and law enforcement will influence the demand of the composite
