Surgical Procedure Essay

This surgical procedure is mainly designed to treat the area around the elbow through which the ulnar nerve passes. This ulnar nerve is mainly responsible for the “funny bone” phenomenon when the elbow gets a hit. In the cases of any damage to this nerve which can be from any kind of trauma or some injury or even rare chances of a tumor which further leads to tingling like the “funny bone” sensation or permanent sensation of numbness. Such kind of damages sometimes also leads to damaging of the functioning in the muscles of the hand which are supplied to the ulnar nerve.
