Superheroes and villains have been a beloved part of American entertainment culture. We are able to look deeper within these characters but also within ourselves. We look for the good within Superheroes and villains in efforts to comfort ourselves. We are taught to embody the goodness of the world and help others to establish a loving society. But no one is perfect in this journey and although superheroes and villains give us an example to aspire to be, it is their flaws that ensure us that our struggles through this journey will not last forever. It allows is to maintain strength and optimism. Superheroes and villains have saved us from ourselves and our doubts and they should be recognized as a valuable part of our society as we discover
