The solution of petitions is to gain enough signatures for congress to see that the American people have been aware and are calling for change. The change from the petition also includes goals like “Stopping political bribery so special interests can’t use job offers and donations to influence politicians. Ending secret money so people know who’s buying political power. And Fixing our broken elections so the people, not the political establishment, are the ones in control”(anticorruptionact). This solution however requires mass involvement and requires our congress to take steps toward removing corporate grasp on their votes. Matters). The result is corporations being given a slap on the wrist and allowed to continue harming the environment as a result of deregulations. Emphasising on the environment and pushing aside religious ideologies in the government would allow for more regulations to be put in place, allowing more environmental aid to be taken into effect. The emphasis on the environment will raise awareness for environmental protection and lower the depth of issues causing pollution and waste distribution in not only America but the world. With religion lessened in politics, we could progress the vote of the people as opposed to one ruling religion.
