Sundale Club Case Study Examples

This week we were asked to do an intervention on an individual case we selected from a group of cases listed throughout the book for our final intervention. I chose “The Sundale Club.” After reading over the cases The Sundale club jumped out at me. I was hopeful when I submitted my request that I might get it. Luckily enough, I was assigned “The Sundale Club” case as hoped. The reason I wanted to work on the Sundale club is, because I felt it offered several problems that needed to be addressed. I knew that I could really break things down piece by piece, and get to the root of the problem. Another thing the Sundale company offered was it was dealing with hot topics, and current events in the world right now. This was appealing to me, because things like gender discrimination hit close to home being a female myself. Being able to research and bring attention to the realities of gender discrimination or sexual harassment and how they can affect a business was motivating to me. The
With Chuck Johnson introduced a whole set of other issues for the Sundale Club. Issues that stemmed from Sexual Harassment, Homosexuality Phobias, Nepotism and Gender inequality. Each one of these factors can be harmful to a business alone. The Sundale is occurring these problem all together all at once.
Second is the issue of member retention and member recruitment. The Sundale has been known to be the prestigious Athletic and Social Club of the city, but even the best have to work at staying the best. Failing to address your customers concerns and assure them that they are valued has caused the Sundale club to lose loyal return customers. And on the other hand it’s important for all businesses to that rely on customer memberships to seek out new customers. The Club needs to work on reaching new members daily. Just as they once had a waitlist, they need to constantly be working toward potential
