Summary Of The Most Dangerous Game By Richard Connel
The Most Dangerous Game In the story, “The Most Dangerous Game,” Richard Connel introduces a man named Rainsford. Rainsford is a hunter who specifically hunts jaguars. He falls off a boat one night and swims to a nearby island known as Ship-Trap Island. There, he finds a huge castle and two people; a large man named Ivan and a hunter named General Zaroff. Over dinner, Zaroff explains that he traveled all over the world hunting animals, and started feeling bored of hunting, so he resorted to hunting humans. Rainsford was appalled and wanted a boat to go back home, but Zaroff said he could only leave if he survives the three days of being hunted. Rainsford manages to survive and on the fourth day kills Zaroff. The author uses rich imagery to
