Summary Of The Littles To The Rescue By John Peterson
Introduction:
The series that I chose to talk about is one of my personal favorites and that books that got me into reading, The Littles. The books are shirt little chapter books with about fourteen chapters in each book. All the books are about this little family that are so tiny, the tallest one is about six inches tall. The whole family lives in the walls of a big family they call the Bigs, who don't know the littles exist. In each of there stories they go on big adventures and they get in a little bit of trouble. These books are written by John Peterson and also have a few pictures on the pages that are illustrated by Roberta Carter Clark, and the cover by Jacqueline Rogers.

The books don't really have an order because each book is its own store and can be understood on its own. So the first book that I read was called The Littles Go Exploring. In this book Tom and Lucy Little find a secret room that had belonged to there grandfather, who had disappeared two years ago. This book is all about the Littles men going on a rescue trip to find Aunt Lily. Mrs. Little is expecting a new little baby very soon and needs Aunt Lily’s help. Lily lives in a doctors house and learned to be a nurse from watching him and reading his books. There was a big winter storm going on but Lily made her sun fly her to the Littles house. When he got there he found that she had fallen out of the plane. The Littles men decide to go find her and along the way meet up with the tree tinies who help then find Lily. Lily who was captured by the ground tinies made friends with them and they helped her get to the Littles. The little men however think Lily is being held captive and charge in to save her but only to find the the ground tinies hailed Lily and the newest little has arrived safe and
