The author expresses his dislike about the dog, "No, I Do Want to Pet to Pet Your Dog," is a believe against the "cultural assumption the everyone must love dogs" and he is furious because "in the last decade, dog achieved dominion over urban America. They are everywhere now, allowed in the places that used to belong exclusively to humans, and sometimes only to human adults: the office, restaurants, museums, buses, trains, malls, supermarkets, barber shops, banks, and post offices". He expresses his opinion on how he feels about the dog left in public place that is reasonable and of great concern to everyone and I believe everything that pertains dogs.
