Summary Of I Am Colby

Hello. My name is Amy Henry and I am Colby's English teacher here at Catholic Central. As you might know, students have been conducting a research report on a selected topic and putting it into a 5 paragraph essay, which was turned in yesterday. While grading Colby's copy today, I noticed signs of plagurism, so I ran it through our system and found some terrible news. He did in fact plagurize 63% of his paper. Most sentences/paragraphs were cut and copied from selected websites that he did not include in his bibliography or cited in text.

Colby's introduction was the only part of the essay that was his own. The remainder of his essay; however, was not worded in a way that Colby, or any other 8th grade student, would use. Due to
