The title of the article is called Bestiality in Colonial America, it was written by John M. Murrin. The purpose of writing this article is to show today's society how harm it was at this time that they were treated this innocent animals with harm. And how the other perspective of these people saw them as doing these to them. Just by reading the name of the article it gives me a idea that it might have been about something awful that the natives committed towards animals. Also the natives might have been surviving from mental disorders which was the caused them to do what they do. I believe the author's thesis may be found on page ten in the middle of the first passage. I believe that this may be the thesis because it supports how animals were treated unfairly and were torture. This thesis also explains how it was incorrect for humans and animals to breed with each other to be able to create a brand new species.
Today not much have changed afters decades ago, today we are still ruled by a leader, we are either in the hands of a king, queen or like in America by our president Donald Trump and including the government. Slavery was common back then and it still continues today around the world. Something has changed, we do have more rights than the natives. Including us women, we are more free. Back then women were not allowed to work, they were just allow to take care for their children's and do household. Today women could have the privilege to pursue a career of their choice. Even Though today's society is still fighting for even more rights for women. For example a higher paid, so womans are still even standing up for their beliefs as they did millions years
