In the article, “Talking Heads,” by Cassandra Willyard, I felt like I could relate to the author’s unanswered questions about the voices inside our minds. The question that I was most interested in was “What is this voice?” This article did a good job explaining and answering the questions many people may have about inner speech. ”You can’t do this.” I’ve heard this phrase countless amounts of times when I’m running to first base hoping to be called safe.
