What They Do?
Registered nurses are in charge of administering health care, caring for patients, and educating patients on their health condition. Many of their responsibilities depend on where they are working. Nurses will record medical files and analyze test results. They may operate medical equipment and observe patient treatment. Many registered nurses are part of a team of physicians and they help physicians with different patients and their needs. Once you have been in this job for a while you might also be asked to oversee trainees that are coming into a nursing position. Overall, nurses have various jobs that they are responsible for, however, they can work in a position where they job is more narrowed. They can work in a specific field group and help out patients in that area, for example, an addiction nurse. An addiction nurse would have a lot of different tasks that would not be the same for a nurse that works in an ER.

Most commonly you will see registered nurses in the environment of a hospitals or private practice offices. Although they can be in places like schools and help out with sick children, or they can help out in the military and injuries/sickness that come from that. They may also work in care facilities like nursing homes. Another option is they could be constantly moving. Registered nurses can travel throughout the world to help people and care for them. For example, they could travel somewhere like Africa and help with the illness there. For me, I would prefer working in a private practice office as the hours can be a little more normal. Round the clock care is a constant need for the safety of people, if someone gets hurt in the middle of the night they must still get care at that time. This means that most nurses will work extremely long hours in various times of the
