Summary: A Career As A Forensic Pathologist

I am currently a Forensic Science/Pre-Med student at Grand Canyon University (GCU). Next semester, I will transfer to the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) to continue my studies. While a senior in high school, I attended UTEP for the course, Crime Scene Investigation. After taking the course, I realized forensic science was the path I wanted to take to become a Forensic Pathologist. In addition, when taking Human Anatomy and Physiology at GCU, I was able to gain some experience my first year of college by working with cadavers. We utilized the cadavers to examine the muscles and how to identify them. I am a great team member, have excellent computer skills and can effectively communicate in Spanish and English.
