Suicide takes the lives of nearly 30,000 Americans every year. People commit suicide every day in the world. It is an ugly but truthful thing in the world. Some people's situations put them in a more likely position to commit suicide. Some of the main contributors to suicide are troubles with in a family, friends, careers, and social life. It’s important that people are aware of warning signs. They also should know common characteristics of those who are suicidal and those who succeed in taking their own lives. There is help out there for those who need it, but for those who you know need the help. You can save them and prevent another victim to suicide. Some people when they break up with someone who they love or loved for a very long time don't know how to deal with being by themselves. Some feel that they're going to be alone forever, while some feel they can't possibly live without that person, so they just end their life. In a case of breakup, people may feel that they may not be good enough for anyone else. Some feel that they weren’t not good enough and will never be good enough for anyone. Breaking up in a relationship can also be breaking up a friendship. In some cases people commit suicide just to make the other person feel bad. They feel that all the sadness and pain the other person has caused upon them, they can

I believe the main cause of suicide is the effects of society. We all have our own personal problems and stressful life events that we go through. A stressful life event may range from a break up between a boyfriend and girlfriend/ divorce of husband and wife, a death or loss of a significant loved one, or society not excepting people sexual orientation (gay, lesbians, transgender). There are many reasons why someone would think about committing suicide. A death of a family member or loss of a loved one can lead to suicide. Loosing someone is often too much for other loved members to handle and it adds more stress on top of their stress which provokes them to think of committing suicide. Often a suicide in a family can cause another suicide. For example if an elder member commits suicide due to unable to handle stress and everyday changes in life then later on if a younger members experiences similar problem he/she will also follow this step, because in the person’s mind the only thought running is that “I can’t handle it anymore”.…

6 reasons I believe someone would commit suicide would be: they get bullied, suffer from depression or psychological issues, have family members who have died, have no one who they’re close to, have financial problems, or they are overwhelmed by guilt because of something that’s happened. -“Happiness in this World, Reflections of a Buddhist physician By Alex Lickerman, M.D. “ I agree with Durkheim’s beliefs on suicide. People who feel like they don’t belong in society might feel worthless, like their existence is with no purpose. If someone is trapped by society and are very restricted they might kill themselves to feel free. If there is a constant pressure to be someone or have certain things, that can cause someone to feel overwhelmed with stress and not want to live.…
