Successful Human Resources
There are several steps and strategies that I must put in place for my goal of being a successful human resources partner. Human resources entails values of leadership, understanding, compassion, and achievements, which drives as an excellent career choice for me. The core of human resources are creating relationships with people. These relationships will help to achieve many different goals in/out the organization I selectively choose to work. As relationships are at the center, there is much work required to become a successful human resources partner. In five years I see myself at the height of my career, not only becoming the best that I can be, but also being a featured asset to my future employer. My main goal is to become a …show more content…
The first one is communication. Being able to communicate on all levels is essential in Human Resources. This means being able to be understood in not only what you say, but also being able to express yourself and your issues in writing. My mentor would be a great person to bring the ideas to and from with their experience(s) that could better direct my human resources success. For me work satisfaction would not be hard to achieve. I would only want an environment that is conducive to evolutionary thinking. Personally, I would prefer operating with individuals who have the drive to keep the company fresh and interesting. I would want to work with people who are not afraid to try new things with the backbone to admit when something was wrong and regroup. Human resources is a wonderful area to work in and I know that the need for it in the next five years will still be a great one. At this time, educating myself I can present a qualified candidate to the work force. It is my goal to excel and pursue great outcomes within this area over five

Being an administrator at my current place of employment I get to touch on some of the aspects that are important in this area. For instance, upon hiring of an employee I already orient them to the office as well as the position they will be filling; answering any questions they may have about the company. I also participate in skills training, ensuring that if I myself am not the person training then they are partnered with a person that is knowledgeable in that area to help the new employee become more proficient. Two skills that I will need to develop in order to be successful is to better develop career development programs to help insure the employee has a clear understanding of the tasks at hand as well as the tasks within the office. I am also a firm believer in…
