Background of the Study
It was observed that the prices of the food served in the Marikina Christian Integrated School’s cafeteria were more expensive compared to other stores of food establishment. The researchers wanted to know the student’s perception on the prices of food served in their school’s cafeteria and its relationship with their daily allowance. The Research Paradigm

Statement of the Problem
The researchers’ main objective in this project was to determine the “STUDENTS’ PERCEPTION ON THE PRICES OF FOOD SERVED IN THE SCHOOL’S CAFETERIA AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO THEIR DAILY ALLOWANCE”. Most specifically, this study sought to answer the fallowing question: 1. What are the prices of food served in the Marikina Christian Integrated School‘s Cafeteria, School Year 2012-2013? 2. How much is the average daily allowance of the high school student of Marikina Christian Integrated School, School Year 2012-2013? 3. What is the students’ perception on the prices of food served in their school’s cafeteria and its relationship to their daily allowance? 4. What are the effects of the prices of food served in the Cafeteria to the students’ daily allowance? 5. Is there a significant relationship between students’ perception on the prices of food served in the school’s cafeteria and their average daily allowance? Hypothesis

There is no significant relationship between the students’ perception to the prices of food served in their school’s cafeteria and their average daily allowance. Significance of the Study
The groups of people who will be benefited in this study are the following: 1. The students – for them to know if their daily allowance affects their perception or insight on the prices of food. 2. The parents – for them to know their children’s perception on the prices of food in the cafeteria and to identify whether the amount of allowance they provide is sufficient for their children. 3. The cafeteria personnel – for them to know what are the students’ perception on the prices of food they serve. Scope and Delimitation
