Student Recess Research Paper

What do you do at recess? Do you ever not wear the appropriate shoes to play and just sit there during recess? Would you rather be on your phone? I don’t know about you, but at recess, I don’t always wear the correct shoes to play so i’m stuck sitting there all recess or I don’t feel like playing four square or basketball so I just sit. Sometimes my friends go and play or don’t want to sit with me so I’m stuck sitting there alone. Would having your phone fix this? In my opinion, I think it would be more beneficial for the students because recess is a student’s only free time during the school day. I think that at recess, students should be able do what they want as long as it is appropriate and necessary.
As an eighth grade student I think we should be able to have our cell phones out during recess. Our class is mostly responsible and can be trusted to not do inappropriate and nonessential things. This would be a privilege and can be taken away from students who decide not
The reason this would be propitious is if a student would need to contact a parent to make sure they’re getting picked up from practice, a game, or school and use it accordingly. The school board would probably disagree because if they are texting other students that are in class it could be a distraction and they can contact their parents through email. Furthermore, not all parents check their emails right away or at all, and texting other students while in class can be taken care of consequently. We should be allowed to have our phones out during recess. We are responsible to abide by rules and do what we are allowed. Not everyone wears equitable shoes to participate during recess.
