Student Course Reflection
I believe the long term results and value in completing a degree in higher education is great considering my situation, it’s something that I never thought I would have a chance to accomplish. I value it greatly because it is giving me another chance at being something in life and a positive role model for children and grandchildren to look up to. By completing my degree in Hospitality travel and tourism, it gives me hope that one day I will conquer my dreams of becoming Hospitality. Anyone that earns a degree in higher education has the knowledge to do anything they put their mind to due to the fact that it takes a lot of discipline to get through school. I have great respect for anyone that tries to better their education to make their lives better. My personal plan for my academic future is to finish getting my degree in Hospitality travel and tourism. My first couple of classes has really made me realize that it is not as easy as it looks. Being a single mother of two kids takes a lot out of me, so earning this degree is going to be one of my greatest achievements and accomplishments but also one of the hardest things that I have had to do but I will conquer this.
I will use what I have gained in college to start of my career in Hospitality Travel and Tourism. I always wanted to get into school for Traveling, but I never put forth the effort to do it. Now that I am older and married I have a different outlook on life. As I said before the main Objective is to add more on my resume to get myself in a better position to help my family financially. I think that once this done I will have the leverage in my field of work. I have planned to turn in all of my assignments on time for the remainder of my time in school, I have to resources to get my work done so it should not be an excuses. I know that in order for me to make good grades, have a successful career, and make the money that I want to make then it starts with the work I put in
