Educational & Professional Background of Instructor:
Welcome to Business Policy & Strategic Decisions. My name is Dr. Bob Castaneda and I will be your instructor over the next 8 weeks. I have over 25 years of experience in various accounting and finance management roles with companies such as American Express, PepsiCo, and McDonald’s Corporation. I am passionate about accounting and finance and enjoy teaching these courses. I have had a chance to live and work in a number of international markets in a professional capacity including Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Venezuela. My hobbies are bike riding, museum trolling, and jogging. I live in downtown Chicago and enjoy the windy cities lakefront activities.

I received my doctorate with a concentration in accounting from Argosy University, an MBA with concentrations in finance and marketing from Northwestern University and a BSC with concentrations in accounting and marketing from DePaul University. I am also a certified public accountant.
