Introduction
According to the assignment given, we are to select a well-established organisation, select a working position, and discuss in detail that we have learnt regarding legal compliance and diversity issues in recruiting, selecting, defining and hiring for an organisational culture.
We are also required to explain how work is conducted at present in the chosen work position, analyse the work tasks involved and discuss innovative work forms that can be introduced so that employees may attain a better work-life balance.
We select McDonald's to analyse its training, education and benefit through overview its history and job structure Furthermore, we compare McDonald's in US with McDonald's in China, Malaysia and the world at large where McDonald’s is. Finally, we give some constructive and rationalizative suggestions.
Organisation chosen
McDonald's is the world's leading fast-food company by sales, with about 32,000 restaurants serving burgers and fries in about 120 countries. (There are nearly 14,000Golden Arches locations in the US.) The popular chain is well-known for its Big Macs, Quarter Pounders, and Chicken Nuggets
Most of its outlets are free-standing units, but McDonald's also has many units located in airports and retail areas.
McDonald's is proud to offer a wide variety of high-quality, great tasting menu options. The restaurants offer substantially uniform menu consisting of hamburgers and cheeseburgers. The
