In this paper is the consideration of a strategic plan for week six assignment that will indicate how to ensure that an organization’s vision, mission, people strategies, and value statement will align with the strategic plan of an organization. In the paper are illustrations of external environmental analysis and internal environmental analysis for consideration in the strategic plan. In this paper is an indication of what an organization must do to ensure that the company’s mission and vision statement is in communication throughout each organizational channel. In a mission statement, an organization will answer three important questions 1) why; 2) how, and 3) what. Evaluating a mission statement is necessary to ensure the organization is meeting the establish objectives and goals. Leaders of an organization must research the company’s operational plans to make sure that the plans are in relationship to the objectives and goals of the organization. The organization’s leadership must implement practical goals and objectives in the organization’s operation, sales, marketing, finance, customer service, and accounting practices to measure the organization’s mission and vision statement.
The organization’s vision statement is parallel to the mission statement because they define the company’s business operation. To ensure that the vision statement is in alignment with the mission statement, the leadership of the organization must communicate the vision in reference to building the organization for the future. To measure the effectiveness of the vision statement, the organization’s leadership and management use indicators such as total sales, market share, customer service response to question and complaints, and market

There are key elements that an organization can measure to observe if they are still in alignment with the organizations mission and vision. An organization can monitor its own human resources department to ensure the propose candidate has the best qualification for the key positions, and the increasing of new customers through sales and marketing. Another way to measure people strategies is by conducting an investigation of the organizations current suppliers to make sure that those suppliers are meeting the organizations requirements concerning natural grown products. Also the organization must continue monitoring their social responsibility to the surrounding communities and to continue to enhance their social
