Why should we end bullying?

Bulling has been an exceeding issue over the years… it is about time to make it stop! Bulling affects everyone not just the victims of bulling but, the bully’s and everyone surrounding them. The numbers of kids that are starting to become victims as well as bullies are increasing. Nobody like’s a bully and being one just makes matters worse. Bullying is a major problem that we haven’t been able to stop, every year more and more people become bullied at school and online, if we take a stand against bullying and not encouragedit I believe that we can put an end to it! Bullying has gone viral. People have been bullying over the internet on social media sites such as Facebook and even twitter. As well as social networking sites people have also used our new technology of texting to harass people. Cyber bullying is what its called when you bully someone over the internet. “Dharun Ravi was accused of having so viciously tormented his Rutgers University roommate named Tyler Clementi, that in September 2010 he committed suicide.” (Cloud 2) Clementi jumped to his death off the George Washington Bridge. (Cloud 2) “partly because of the bridges proximity to the nations media capitol and partly because of his gut ranching Facebook sign off.” (Cloud 2) “Jumping off the GW bridge sorry” Tyler Clementi posted just mere hours of his suicide.
The matter was he used his Facebook, which was the same thing his roommate Dharun used to bully him in which to state his suicide. Bullicide is the act of killing oneself because of being bullied and that is exactly what he did. People should not bully over the internet or at all for that matter. Yet at least at school not everyone can see it. On the internet the victim and the bully has the whole world watching as their audience. Not everyone forgets…. Glass 2 Bulling in school is still in play as well. It may be the “old fashioned”..it is still just as effective! Bulling should not be happening

Explanation: Being bullied has become the norm in our schools across the world. When someone is bullied, they feel as if the whole world is against them. They feel as if maybe they deserve this torment. The individual doing the bullying believes in their own mind they are doing this person a service by making them feel inferior. That they are somehow “helping” the victim. Children or adults, who choose to torment and bully someone else, fully deserve to be held responsible for their actions. That responsibility lies in the hands of the school or others who are aware of the ongoing issue. If a teacher, parent or another adult is aware of this; they should be obligated to report this type of abuse to local authorities. The person doing the bullying should be charged with a crime and be held to the same standard as someone who seeks out to stalk or harass. There is no difference.…

Bullying in schools is an often occurrence in Hollywood movies depicting high school, but what they do not show are the effects of that bullying. There needs to be a zero tolerance policy on bulling, because it is a major issue which most Americans succumb to. Bullying can affect not only victims life, but it effects the victim's ability to learn. Whether the bullying is in school or online, it can have a detrimental effect on a student's ability to learn. Bulling of both can turn school from a source of knowledge and education to a nightmare that they fear. About 15% of all school absenteeism is directly related to fears of being bullied at school. Students should not be afraid to go to school or to get an education. Students are giving up their right to an education to bullies out of fear and that is a crime alone. Not only does bullying affect the victims attendance, but it affects the victims ability to focus and learn in the classroom. Instead of focusing on their class the victims worry about what the bully is going to do next, where to go, and how they are going to get through the day. Bullying has proven to be extremely detrimental to the victims health. Whether injuries are caused directly by the bullies or self…

The way in which we view bullying today is much different than years ago. A “bully” in the 1950’s would have been defined as someone who singles out weak classmates and picks on them, in a physical way. For example, hitting, kicking, and punching, stealing another person’s lunch, and /or dumping cafeteria trays. (break.com/topic/bullies) As time progressed, it became easier to identify and recognize what we considered a “bully”. Needless to say, years ago, the outward appearance of a bully usually consisted of the kid with larger statue, stronger and visually a much scarier looking individual that terrorized everybody else. Although bullying consisted of physical behavior during that time, there was a safe zone where the victim could escape the bully, it was home. Today a victim can be bullied in his or her own home and it may or may not ever be recognized…

Bullying can take a variety of forms. Bullying can happen when people, post negative comments on pictures, post abusive posts on a user's wall, use pictures or videos to make fun of another person, or when use social media to stalk. It can happen on Facebook, Twitter, Whats app, Snapchat, and Instagram. The effect of social media bullying is often more dangerous than physical bullying, especially at the beginning. However, if parents do not watch their children, the end result can be tragic. The bullying in social media has caused the instances of teen suicide to rise dramatically. This is because many teens do not have the emotional capacity to deal with bullying, and it may lead to dangerous things, like skipping school, or using alcohol or drugs. Parents should talk to the kids and teach them how to deal with bulling and always tell the parents if anybody post defamatory information about them, so parents can contact the social networking site with a complaint. And take a legal action if these activities get out of hand. But unfortunately, sometimes bullying will not stop. As an example, by Sam Florella, “Cyber-Bullying, Social Media, and Parental Responsibility.”The Huffington Post article, what happened to Rebecca Sedwick, of Lank Land, Fla, who jumped from a cement factory tower on September 9th,2013.'' While only two girls were arrested for bullying, which allegedly caused Sedwick to commit suicide, authorities…
