By: Julian, Miller & Avery In America, we have a great problem of stereotypes. Stereotypes are widely oversimplified image of a particular type of person. It is basically a false image of a certain type of person. Stereotypes can be racist, are mostly not true, and are offencive to many people. Stereotypes are common in today’s pop culture, Television, social media, and practically everywhere else. Since they are almost everywhere in today’s world, they can be learned, and spread easily. Some kids today learn stereotypes, and often believe them, therefore giving the a biased opinion most of their life. The effect of stereotypes is that the group of people being stereotyped.
