Stephen Curry's Overcoming Obstacles
Stephen (Steph) Wardell Curry is a pro basketball player who can be considered a champion, on and off the court. He took a part in society by supporting funds, and helped and inspired fans all across the nation. Stephen Curry is a famous NBA player who created the three-for-three challenge, a challenging and responsible task that supported the Nothing but Nets Campaign, a movement that saves the lives of others through fundraising and awareness. Curry achieved many goals in his 2012-13 season, including the MVP award, and he now holds the NBA record for three-pointers. Although he is well known for these accomplishments in the game, he also accomplished a challenge that he took at the beginning of the season. Curry created the NBA three-for-three challenge to support the Nothing but Nets Campaign. (NothingbutNets.org) The Nothing but Nets Campaign (NBN) is a movement to stop malaria, especially in Asia and Central Africa. Curry was a champion and supporter of this foundation, and still is today.     Following Michael Jordans footsteps again, Rose became the first NBA all-star on the Bulls since Jordan was named an all-star in 1998. Rose’s third season could be considered his most successful, one of his best games was on January 17 2011. I remember sitting upstairs at my house, wearing my cobalt blue Adidas DRose 2.5s, watching the Bulls play the Grizzlies.
