Statement Of Purpose: Why I Volunteer At The Basket Brigade
Each year in November I volunteer at The Basket Brigade. We assemble boxes full of food for the less fortunate to have for Thanksgiving/the holiday season. After assembling the boxes we each take 4-5 and deliver them to anyone who has requested them. This opportunity is very eye opening, it shows you how much a little kindness goes and how thankful people are that you care. I have also volunteered at Feed My Starving Children for the last few years. This organization allows you to help pack food to send to children across the
