Statement Of Purpose: Fairfax County Teen Police Officer
I wish to attend the Fairfax County Teen Police academy this summer, because I've always had the dream of becoming a police officer. I've always wanted to give back to my community by upholding the law and to serve and protect others. With the amount of hate I see towards cops, it intrigues me to become one. It seems like people nowadays don't respect the police as much as they used to. Which is what I want to change, I want others to see that cops are the good guys and what we do is saving your life. As I've grown up, I haven't really accomplished much. My sister had a successful journey with basketball. Where as I’ve seemed to be in the shadows, not doing much.
