Statement of Professional Goals
Since an early age I have had a passion for learning and knowledge. I find business, finance and economics captivating and with everything I learn I find I want to know more. I have always had a strong interest in Mathematics. In my opinion, Accounting is the meaning of organize, structure and the center of every business. Accounting can be used in different part of life, from a basic family to the biggest company or government, it is one of the most shared and important part of the total structure. It is not only about money, it is about teamwork and collaboration. All these points together make me feel accounting is a fascinating subject and I want to connect that interest into my current profession. In my current position as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, I wish to obtain more knowledge, competencies, and have the opportunities to understand the experiences, values and perspectives of persons with disabilities in the everyday business arena. I want to enable persons with disabilities and others to become active participants in the employment and self-employment processes that make up a business. A Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) would provide me with the coursework and fieldwork to be able to identify and address the attitudinal, environmental, economic and systemic barriers that may impede persons with disabilities from achieving their life goals. Also, a MBA will allow me to empower others to logic and reasoning to the strengths and weakness of alternative solution, conclusion or approaches to problems with in an organization. As a Rehabilitation Counselor, I have become more aware of each individual with a disability have a unique constellation of strengths, abilities, weaknesses, interests, hopes, goals,

    One passion we as educators all share is the love for our students. Those of us who chose the path of working with special education students especially know that genuine place we have in our hearts for teaching students disabilities with learning disabilities. Over the last few decades, more awareness about these disabilities has florist throughout our nation. Many advocates of their time have fought to educate these students in order to help them overcome their struggle. Over time we see the long protect the rights of the students and provide them with the restrictive environment settings in order to provide an equal but adequate education.
