ANSWER:
TITLE
The boys, as they talked to the girls of Marcia Blaine School, stood on the far side of their bicycles holding the handlebars, which established a protective fence of bicycle between the sexes, and the impression that at any moment the boys were likely to be away.
And then on the ringing of the bell, the boys and the girls started moving in different directions, as they had different exits, but it was all a chaos. But two of them- a boy and a girl- started heading towards a completely different direction, due to the ruckus. Roy was his name and they called her Lisa. After a while, the noticed each other, and both of them realised that being in the same school, they both had never seen each other! So gradually, they started interacting with a casual 'hi' and after a long introduction, headed to the woods with their respective bicycles by their side.
They seemed to be gelling well with each other, both were Jews and both their fathers were businessmen, Roy's being a merchant of clothes, while Lisa's being a jeweller. They had a lot of similarities between them like their thinking, their speech, religious attitude and so on. They decided to spend more time with each other, to know each other even more as they found something special between them.
While walking along with their bicycles, they reached a very quiet, dense and isolated place in the woods. It was then that they realised that they were too far away from home and it was almost supper time. They were so engrossed in each other that they failed to realise that five hours had passed since they started talking! They would now have to spend the night together as well because returning was not possible. On searching, they found a small shack and decided to spend the rest of the night there, together.
Both opened their lunch boxes and ate some of the leftovers from lunch. They had a lot of fun during the whole night, chit-chatting and playing and pulling each others' leg. It was dawn and they finally realised that they were soul mates, eventually deciding to spend the rest of their not so happening night together.
It was morning, the 'shortest' night of Ron and Lisa had ended. On their way back home, as they approached the end of the forest, they found something very strange in the surrounding. The atmosphere was filled with smoke, a lot of smoke, of a different type and there was something eerie.
As a precaution, Ron first went to drop Lisa, going the other way round and as soon as they approached her colony, they were stunned on seeing what that taken place in that 'short' night! They whole colony was destroyed by- THE NAZI's- which was evident from the monstrous black flag hanging high up on a nearby pole. As they saw around, many people lay dead, with chunks of blood flowing around. It was no less than a slaughter house. Ron, though shocked, caught hold of Lisa and rushed towards his colony, a few miles away.
It was the same story there, but in this case Ron found his father lying in a pool of blood, he must have rebelled, In no time, Ron broke into tears. But immediately rushed to find his mother, but it was to no avail. On returning, he got another shock, Lisa had been firmly held by a Nazi General! It seemed like all the bad things were taking place together in Roy's life. Roy begged the General to leave Lisa telling that he would do anything for it. Which was indeed to cliché.
Roy, in no time, was on his knees and it was at that moment that an idea struck to him. He shouted, "Lisa duck and close your eyes!", and picking up a fistful of sand threw it towards the General's face. He clearly lost vision for some time. In no time the two got away, at a speed, unimaginable. They rushed toward an apartment and on finding a trap door, which was very common in a house of the Nazi era, and hid in it.
Meanwhile, the General had his vision restored and immediately called for re-enforcements. They were in full pursuit for the two. After searching for hours, the enforcements reached the room in the apartment, wheree the two had initially hid. The Nazi's being very smart and knowing about every trap door, immediately opened the trap door, where the two had hid, but on opening found nothing but a mice! Strange!
Then Where were Roy and Lisa? The General till his retirement couldn't find the two! The two kids who had seen so much of life in the two days were gone, gone far away, very far from the evils of this cruel world, so far that no one could ever hurt them. They had surely boarded the train to heaven!
