Star Wars Expanded Universe Analysis
Lies. Lies. And more lies.

Hayden did not quit acting, he has had several successful films since Star Wars, with his latest film premiering last year. I'm so tired of the LFL brass and the media continually lying to us, and much of it has been tracked back to Disney by way of shills and astroturfers. Its surprising not only how quickly after the purchase of Lucasfilm, that everything that wasn't the Original Trilogy began to be discredited; but also that this discrediting was so readily accepted. While Mr. Plunkett laid the ground work for the Prequel hate, the Star Wars Expanded Universe was of such high quality it was basis for all other EUs to be judged. LFL has even been so bold as to tell us they where altering the results of fan polls

Before Plunkett's review of the Prequels, the hate they received was on par with Empire and Jedi, that is to say insubstantial. After I left the midnight showing of Revenge of the Sith, all I could here was how it might be the best one overall. And in Attack of the Clones the entire theater chanted "YODA, YODA, YODA" for the entirety of the fight with Dooku. Finally we saw Yoda as a great warrior, something we all dreamed about since Obi-Wan first spoke of him in Empire. And Hayden was hand picked for the role of Anakin, because he was an amazing young actor with depth and range to convey emotion. I challenge anyone to watch "Higher Ground" and not be stunned by the talent of A.J. Cook, Jewel Staite, Kandyse McClure, Jorge Vargas, Meghan Ory, Kyle Downes, AND Hayden Christensen. And I dare say Hayden has had the most successful post "Higher Ground" acting career. A.J. Cook has had the most stable career with her role in Criminal Minds, but I doubt she has netted as much income a Hayden has from his numerous movies. While Jewel Staite's being a mainstay at cons might have increased her net-worth to surpassed that of Hayden's, I doubt she has made more from acting despite her success in Firefly and the roles that has garnered

Let’s look at it from this perspective. Would Main Line produce a movie that they expected to lose a large amount of money? I think not. And, as the defense expert in this case clearly mentions, it is not always the actor that attracts movie-goers. He supports this claim with two very popular actors--Bruce Willis and Whoopi Goldberg. In fact, Bruce Willis’ films usually bring in large amounts of money are box office hits, but Hudson Hawk apparently was a flop and a big loss. Who could have predicted…

Star Wars vs Star Trek is a rivalry that has been going on since 1977 when Star Wars released A New Hope in theaters. Although Trekkies seem to believe that Star Trek is better than Star Wars, they would be wrong. Star Wars The Force Awakens broke the box office record and has a net worth of $1.783 billion, while Star Trek’s highest net worth is only $282 million. Darth Vader is the greatest cinematic villain of all time, bar none. Star Trek's Khan was, in all fairness, one of the best as well. But a plastic-chested, Shakespeare-quoting Ricardo Montalban or venom-spewing Benedict Cumberbatch can't hold a lightsaber to Vader. Star Wars also has better weapons, Star Wars’ lightsaber, a pulsating beam of light that is a sword that slices through…

    2. Sisyphus is considered absurd because he believed that “what is right” is better and more important then what authority claims. He also preferred life over death, the earth as opposed to the afterlife, he has a passion for life. His passion for life also leads to hatred of death, and his scorn for the gods. Sisyphus’ attitude towards his fate is that he becomes one with his task, his makes the rock his own. His consciousness and lucidity of what he is doing allows him to see his fate as something other than hopeless and futile, he is stronger than the rock. Sisyphus makes his fate a human matter, not one the gods can control.…

Technology in the Han and Roman empires had come a long way since earlier times. However, some of the people of these great states seemed to take this for granted. At least that was the attitude I got from three of the documents provided. But, mostly the attitude was positive. From the perspective of these government officials and philosophers, I perceived an attitude that ranged from very positive to openly negative.…

In the article “ The force in ‘Star Wars’ is stupid and immoral” written by Ben Shapiro He states that “The vision of the force in the star wars galaxy is morality free its feelings centered wich another way of saying “selfish” who cares about your feelings?” I think the point of the force is that the light side is about using it to help others, and the dark side is about using it for yourself.…

Flashback to the summer of 1977, the United States had just celebrated its bi-centennial, Jimmy Carter was in the White house, and the king of rock and roll was in his last days. A bright eyed and bushy tailed young filmmaker named George Lucas was about to launch his newly created project on the world, “Star Wars”. Lucas, not a pedigreed filmmaker by no means, is given the greenlight by 20th century Fox and the budget of 11 million dollars to film his creation. The film was released on Memorial Day weekend of that year, and we all know the rest is history.…

Movies are always trying to duplicate what actually happened in real life. The directors have to read and learn about the specific time and the events that they want their movie to be based upon. During WWII, there were many critical moments that could be historically accurate or inaccurate. Empire of the Sun directed by Steven Spielberg, is a historically accurate movie because it depicts what is what like for a younger child to live in a concentration camp during the middle of a war. The movie is a true story based on the memories of J.G. Ballard who is portrayed as Jamie in the movie(Berardinelli 1).…

The Roman empire and the Han empire collapsed for similar reasons as well as some different reasons. Firstly, both Rome and China’s governments became an ineffective way to control an empire. Secondly, nomadic tribes invaded both Rome and China. These tribes broke into their respective empires and laid waste to the land. Yet differences exist between the collapse of the two empires. A large part of the collapse of Rome was due to inflation. The Han empire was not as affected by inflation as the Roman empire was. The external invasions that caused the collapse of the Roman empire and the Han empire could be compared to invasive species from the realm of Biology.…

He was hard to miss, that was for sure. Luke had eyed him as soon as he’d walked in. Seated next to his Leia in a booth, his arm loosely draped her shoulders, they assumed a position they were both comfortable with. As she played on her phone, Luke sipped on his tepid beer, bored and looking for something that would entertain. For the past hour, nothing came about. Although knew Luke exactly why; it didn’t change his mind on whether or not he should move away from Leia and grant them some space. After all, Leia was much more comfortable knowing that she had Luke to keep certain shady characters away from her. They were twins, fraternal twins, but twins nonetheless. Lando was the one who’d invited them out for drinks this time, and to a place, he and Leia weren’t familiar with…

    Hollywood Is Overrated

Many years ago it was considered an honor to be part of the “Hollywood Life.” Famous actors and actresses were respected for their work and were actually talented. These actors and actresses took their roles seriously. They were portrayed as role models, and tried to keep their positive reputations in public. Today, Hollywood is chaotic. Celebrities do not take pride in their work, and they do not seem to care how people judge them. These people think they are invincible because they have money; and therefore, they do whatever they want, when they want to do it. Money is tossed around left and right like yesterday’s leftovers. I do not have much respect for those celebrities that live that lifestyle, especially like Paris Hilton, Tom Cruise, and Britney Spears.…

importantly votes. Because people love and become inspired by the characters played by an individual and in the end they are in fact become blinded by who that individual really is. It is as if you give a dangerous person, or as I will refer to him as, "an evil dower" some candy. Now a politician by him self is an evil dower who does not have candy. Without the candy it is very hard for an evil dower to attract little children into a car but as soon a candy, or even better a child's favorite candy is introduced, this when put into context being a favorite actor, that is all the child sees and is blinded to whomever posses the candy, thus getting into the car. This in essence is basically the reaction of an obsessed fan when celebrities become involved in politics.…
