Spook Alley Research Paper

The city Sherwood in Oregon is full of many events and exciting things to do as a community each year, they hold events such as the car show, robin hood festival, and there is always a huge crowd at the local football games. Today we will talk about one of the events that was one of the favorites for many people, spook alley. Spook alley is a haunted tunnel that goes inside the middle school that has jump scares and a Halloween theme that really brings the community together. Though the event was muched loved and attended the school decided to cancel it because of some reasons. Even though spook alley was cancelled the school will still host a new event called raider dash, many people are upset at the change. Sherwood Middle School had parents help with the setup of the alley and eventually it turned into the parents doing all the work so the school decided to cancel also because the possible shortage of
Many think that it was changed due to the new leadership teacher and some think otherwise. Another contributing factor could be that the funds of the school were less than last year and the work setup for the gigantic tunnel of scary surprises and props. The haunted tunnel took a ton more preparation than the Raider Dash that was also outside, because it was outside it required less clean up for the janitor and volunteers. Having the event outside would also mean more space, yet people were still a little sorrowful. With the current event being different then before it will take a while for everyone to adjust from a tradition like spook alley. Spook alley was a huge event for the city of Sherwood each year, it’s upsetting that it was discontinued, but the new raider dash will be an upgrade for convenience and hopefully get as much attendance as the alley. Spook alley will be missed, but the raider dash will be exciting for the community as
