THESIS STATEMENT: If you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m going to be talking to you about a car – my dream car, the Nissan GTR aka Godzilla.
PREVIEW: You’ll hear a little of the GTR’s history, some of its current features, and a few of its accomplishments and accolades. All of which make this my dream car.
CREDIBILITY: In my last speech, I told you a little about my dad. Well one of the things he did was that he taught me how to drive and he did so when I was twelve (12) years old. I think he later regretted that. Since then I have been absolutely in love with cars, particularly fast ones. I know - typical guy right. But so much so that my friends and I would talk about cars and for a lot of them we would use the cars’ model & engine numbers instead of their names.
TRANSITION: Before I get into what the car is today, I want to tell you about the car’s history.
